Yahoo! Maps Adds More Imagery
Published Tuesday, August 15, 2006 by CCAer | E-mail this post
Yahoo! Maps has added more high resolution imagery to its mapping site. The additions don’t seem to follow any logic, being rather spotty. Included are places like
Abidjan,
Edmonton,
Rome,
Nairobi and
Santorini (where you can almost see
the dogs roaming the streets).
In some cases, imagery is better than what is available through Google Maps. This follows up on
previous imagery updates more than a month ago.
See the Yahoo! Maps blog for more details.
