Tracking air traffic
Published Friday, November 18, 2005 by CCAer | E-mail this post
FlightAware is a site that takes real-time air traffic in Canada and the United States. As well as providing overview maps of the region showing specific aircraft movement, local maps for airports and traffic associated with that airport are available. Users can search by airport or commercial flight number.
An animated map showing the movement of traffic throughout the day (similar to what
Flight Patterns displays -
see previous blog entry) is also available.
