Very Spatial points to a WIRED piece on how online mapping is changing how we live our lives. It’s a little short and frustratingly brief on details - some one should take the time and write a lengthy piece on this. Over at the Map Room, there’s a link to an assessment of online mapping services, with specific regards to directions and accuracy of time to travel. A little too focused on the end result.

Look in the coming days for a more detailed review of online mapping services on this blog that covers all - usability, design, accuracy, content and drive times.
