The Imperial War Museum is currently running an exhibition on the life of Lawrence of Arabia. The exhbition runs from October 14, 2005 to April 17, 2006. Included in the exhiubition is Lawrence’s map of the Middle East, setting out his proposals for how the area should be divided up after the First World War. It could be argued that his proposals might have resulted in a Middle East that was more stable. The BBC has an article on the map, including a too-small image of it. It would be interesting to see a larger, more readable version of it.
