The
World Resources Institute, an environmental think tank, has developed a
Climate Analysis Indicator Tool (CAIT) that “provides a comprehensive and comparable database of greenhouse gas emissions data (including all major sources and sinks) and other climate-relevant indicators.” Free registration is required to access the data and maps. As well as providing data on greenhouse gas emissions in tabular and csv format, CAIT also provides socio-economic data, fossil fuel reserves, land mass, and heating needs based on climate. All tables also come accompanied with a zoomable world map. Data can also be displayed in the maps on a per captia basis.
