hasn’t been updated for about 2 years by the looks of it but it still manages to offer a huge selection of scanned maps from around the world, many of which are in the 1:25,000 to 1:100,000 scale range. Maps are arranged somewhat by geographical area and are mostly available in jpeg format. Image resolution is quite good and, as a result, the file sizes are around 3 to 4 MB, depending on the map. This is definitely worth a look, especially if you are looking for maps of Eastern Europe and Russia. Expect to spend some time here as there is about 19 GB worth of images to browse. A pleasant find in a “dusty corner” of the Internet.
